"Alphabet Soup Pasta?"
It looks so cute...
It's only $2.49...
I have no idea what recipe to use it for...
I'll just buy one...
My blog friends will surely have lots of clever suggestions...
They will leave inspiration in my comments box...
You will, won't you....?!

  1. Alphabet pasta salad! Yum!

  2. Usually we give this kind of pasta to children, simply cooked in a nice broth and with a generous sprinkle of grated parmigiano just before serving.
Or you could use it to make a 'Pasta e fagioli' soup (pasta and beans).
    Epicurious has a nice recipe.

  3. Have a big group of people over for dinner and on each of their plates place their first, middle and last names made out of cooked pasta - it will take no time at all and you are sure to use up lots of letters! Remember not to overcook - soggy names are not a good look. Even better, make up a poem using the letters about each of your guests. Or, use food dye or paint to colour the letters and make a collage to display in your home - it would certainly look stunning!!!! I look forward to reading other suggestions!

  4. it's got to be minestrone. Mine is easy -
    1 onion,
    3 garlic cloves
    2 sticks of celery,
    2 carrots,
    1.75l stock,
    1 cup soup pasta,
    2 cups tomatoes,
    400g cannellini beans,
    100g spinach or similar,
    1/2 cup frozen peas.
any combination of the above usually works, just add the peas and spinach a few minutes from the end. Serve with grated parmesan.

  5. Now that IS cute pasta, my Mr4 would LOVE it! I don't think you could go wrong putting some of that into a soup... alphabet soup rings a bell from my childhood days, though I'm sure I haven't seen it in recent years.
Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog xo
