Thyme to get cozy...

Yesterday marked the first day of Autumn and we have had heavy rain all weekend. Bye bye summer, you seem like such a distant memory already....

On a slightly warmer note, I'm growing some windowsill herbs and the kids have been eagerly watching and waiting for the seeds to sprout. Finally some tiny Thyme seedlings have appeared and Rhiannon posted a photo of them on Instagram. I was quite impressed by her 12 year old photography skills and asked her to send me on the photo to blog it!

Now we are just waiting for the coriander and basil to emerge! Watch this space...

  1. Very exciting. And the best thing about them growing in your windowsill is that Betty & Wilma can't get to them!

  2. The boys in this household are super-excited to watch our starts sprout... Basil, marigolds and tomatoes for now. Wait until they find out the plants are going into *their* "sandbox"!
