Like last year, today was a scorcher. Blazing hot sun and not a cloud to be seen anywhere. The kids were smothered in sun-screen and had their hats on and a bottle of icy water each. I found it incredably hot just watching them and I dont know how they managed to put so much energy into all the events and still have smiles on their faces!
