Car was booked into Ford garage for compulsory recall of possibly faulty break cable. Left house 8am. Drove to garage, swapped to Mr B's car, drove him to work, drove to local shops anticipating 4-6 hour wait for car to be fixed. 40 mins later get call that car is ready. Cursed that we hadn't just sat in waiting area. Drove back to Byron's work, drove him to Ford garage. Swapped back to normal cars again. Drove home.
Made cup of tea. Forgot to drink it as I supervised kids making carrots out of marzipan and food colouring...???!!! Decorated yesterdays Garden Cakes with cream cheese frosting and just-created-mutant-vegetables. Chased kids around kitchen screaming at them to wash food colouring off hands while they were high on food colouring from afore mentioned mutant vegetables! Made another cup of tea, forgot to drink it. Tried to run around tidying kitchen from
Put kettle on again and finally managed to drink cup of tea. Ate dinner and tucked into beautifully decorated mutant vegetable Garden Cakes!
One day down only 13 more to go....
