We are celebrating Byron's parents 50th Wedding Anniversary this morning.
The card in the foreground shows a picture of Byron's mum Myan and her father as she prepared to enter the church and marry Den. You can see the modern version of Myan and Den fuzzy in the background as the talked on the phone to their daughter Julie and grandson Kerry.
Who would have thought that 50 years later they would be visiting their son and three Grandkids on the other side of the world!

Happy 50th to your in-laws ~ proof that some marriages are really meant to be! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photo and I love hearing about long lasting happy marriages and adventures like the one they're enjoying right now.
ReplyDeleteIt moves me to hear about long lasting marriages, what a gift just reading about them.
ReplyDelete50 years is quite an achievement isn't it - congratulations to them and how lovely that they get to celebrate with you on the other side of the world.
ReplyDeleteJust been catching up with post and I enjoyed reading about Gareth's communion stories - he did indeed look a very grown up little man in the photos.
