13:08:14 Scribbly Gum

I love this particular gum tree. It is called Scribbly gum because of the distinctive scribble lines on its bark. They are made by the larvae of the Scribbly gum moth that live between layers of the bark. Their burrow tracks are exposed when the tree sheds its outer bark. It's funny seeing the scribbles all over the tree limbs, as though a child had been let loose with pencils and doodled to their hearts content!
