I attended two ANZAC day memorials this year. One with the staff and patients of the hospital I work at and one on ANZAC day itself with my family. Both were very moving and gave me plenty of time to be grateful to the many lives that have been lost so my family can live, work and play in a safe country.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
