Catalina Festival

This weekend there was a Catalina Festival in local Rathmines. There was an RAF base there during the second World War and the bay where it was positioned was being renamed "Catalina Bay" in recognition this weekend. There was a festival atmosphere with bands, stalls, vintage cars on show, fire engines and cold beer and bubbly available to sip!

We had a great day watching water planes take off and land. The kids bounced on bouncy castles and had a go on the swing chairs. After lunch we settled in the beer garden and enjoyed a refreshing drink with our friends while the kids played together.
